The Talks

Data Warehousing for Fun and Profit

Mark Taylor - LinkedIn

Learn the advantages of having a Data Warehouse, what the hell a star schema is, and how we designed and built our solution with a custom PHP7 & Symfony 4 powered ETL (Extract Transform Load) process leveraging parallel processing. Our solution runs on the highly scalable Amazon Redshift in our production environment and uses Postgres for developement and testing.

Git Extras

Jason Bruce-Halliwel @JasonBruce88

Git is a great Version Control System, we all probably use it everyday without thinking what else it can be used for apart from version control. With some plugins, a few extra commands and the use of one or two tools, it can improve your development skills and general day-to-day working life.

Our sponsors make this monthly event possible, so please take the time to check them out, and thank them for their support.
